Dermalux MD Light Therapy

How does the Dermalux MD Works?
Phototherapy, meaning ‘Treatment with Light’ is based on the principle that all living cells have evolved to absorb and be influenced by light. Light is a powerful energy and when applied correctly, has a significant impact on how we look, feel and perform.

The mechanism of action is a natural response similar to that of photosynthesis through a process known as photobiomodulation. The human body has an amazing capacity to heal itself and light plays a crucial role.

The treatment involves exposing the skin to specific wavelengths or nanometres (nm) from the visible (colour) and infrared (invisible) part of the light spectrum. Wavelength selection is crucial to the success of the LED treatment as it determines how effectively the light is absorbed. It is so much more than colour choice.

Light Waves

Dermalux MD delivers 3 clinically proven LED wavelengths through 360 LED bulbs. A total of 360 LED bulbs (120 blue, 120 red, 120 near-infrared) send wavelengths deep below the skin's surface.

Dermalux Blue 415nm Wavelength

Eliminates acne-causing bacteria to reduce and treat breakouts. Clinically proven to significantly improve and clear mild to moderate acne by 76% after just 4 weeks.

Stress can often trigger or worsen acne, by changing person’s hormone balance. Typically, when a person is stressed, the body releases cortisol, which can lead to more oil and clogged pores, often leading to inflammation and the development of bacteria.

As an anti-bacterial wavelength, the Blue 415nm offers a solution when this is the case. It is clinically proven to destroy bacteria, and in turn, reduce and eliminate acne. This anti-bacterial action can also reduce inflammation, another symptom of stress.

We are all prone to stress, and although this may be to different levels, it is something that affects many of us in our everyday lives and often impacts your mood overall in a negative way. The calming effect of our Blue 415nm wavelength is recommending by experts to both calm and boost moods. Our Blue 415nm LED accelerates the relaxation process after acute psychosocial stress, and will aid in reducing these feelings and promoting calmness.

“PROVEN TO REDUCE ACNE”

An independent study by world-renowned dermatologists demonstrated that "Blue 415nm and Red 633nm can improve acne by 76%": A CHU ET AL, 2002.

By using only clinically proven wavelengths, our LED phototherapy devices deliver an incomparable standard of results. World-Leaders in LED by science and technology, discover the difference.

Demalux Red light (633nm) Wavelength

Energises the skin to promote fast cell repair and renewal, while fading fine lines and wrinkles, redness, pigmentation and psoriasis. The power of the Dermalux Red 633nm wavelength is clinically proven to rejuvenate, revitalise and restore.

This wavelength recharges your cell energy and aids in boosting collagen production for smooth and firm skin. Let Dermalux Red 633nm LED do the work in enhancing your circulation to restore your skin, into a skin you love.

The combination of red (633nm) and near-infrared light (830nm) help to improve skin texture and smoothness up to 79%.

Near-infrared light (830nm) reduces inflammation, calms irritation and strengthens the skin, as well as increasing cell regeneration up to 200%.

Dermalux Green 520nm, Yellow 590nm and 600nm Wavelength

Yellow light - reduces swelling, redness and inflammation. Used to treat sunburns. Green light - creates a calming effect on skin with anti-inflammatory properties. Lightens hyper pigmentation of spots revealing a brighter complexion.
